No-Nation is very excited to be working with CDR again, this time in South Africa producing a series of events in April 2015!
CDR is the bedrock for aspiring and established producers to submit their current works in progress that are then play-listed and heard that same night. From similar sessions in the UK, a burgeoning community of musicians, producers and fans has developed. UK music makers to have made use of CDR sessions in the UK include Atjazz, Floating Points, and Maya Jane Coles.
CDR will introduce South African artists, producers and audiences to new music straight from the UK and also create a platform and a way of thinking that promotes the development of new electronically produced music through collaborations and communities.
Featuring workshops and sessions from founder Tony Nwachukwu, special guest artist Esa (Freerange, Auntie Flo) and other local producers, CDR will be bringing the night of ideas tracks in the making to these venues:
